A University-Style AI Bootcamp

The bootcamp starts on Monday, 17th August 2026, and it’s an intensive 2-week programme that consists of 10 sessions delivered from Monday-Friday.

Throughout this bootcamp, students will experience Oxbridge-style learning. Every session combines 3 key elements:

Rigorous theoretical sessions
Hands-on practical coding sessions
Mentor-guided team project development and final presentation

Students will actively build AI models, work in teams with motivated peers, and build a capstone project that they will present on the final day.

Our bootcamp has been carefully curated to provide our students with an in-depth knowledge of the foundations of AI, all the way to the most recent developments in the field.

Throughout our sessions, students will explore:

History of AI
Machine learning, Model training, Neural networks, Computer vision, and Large Language Models

As the programme advances, they will explore topics such as:

Reinforcement learning
Agentic AI
AI Deployment
Ethics of AI

Students will also gain practical experience using AI tools and frameworks including:

GitHub
Scikit-Learn
PyTorch
Pandas
NumPy

By the end of the programme, our students will have not just learned the AI models but will have applied them practically.

A Capstone Project

Our bootcamp is known for its project-based learning. Students will work in small teams and choose a capstone project idea that will encourage them to apply their learning to real-world problems.

Whether designing an AI Study Coach, creating a Smart City Solution, building a Heath-tech prototype, or developing their very own start-up project, every project will help them combine their theoretical knowledge and apply it practically.

Throughout the programme, our mentors will provide continuous feedback to our students to help them refine their ideas, improve their prototypes, and present them on their final day.

In the final session, students will present their work before a technical committee, a process that is very similar to university project presentations and start-up pitches.

The bootcamp will be led by Dr. Max Patacchiola, Founder & CEO of Sapiente Education.

With more than 15 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision, and over 30 scientific publications, Max has built a career across both academia and industry.

He has held research positions at the University of Cambridge and the University of Edinburgh, worked in engineering roles at Snapchat and Tools for Humanity, the company behind Worldcoin and co-founded by Sam Altman, and collaborated with leading technology organisations including Microsoft and Google.
