The Sapiente TECH Scholarship Programme was initiated with a vision to recognise exceptional promise and drive in young ambitious learners and to provide them with the access to world-class academic mentorship. Through our fully funded (100%) and partially funded (50%) scholarship programmes, selected students will have the opportunity to join intensive, elite university-level programmes, to master in the chosen field such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Robotics.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be aged 13-21
- Demonstrate strong interest in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Robotics
- Commit fully to the programme schedule
- Complete the scholarship application form and all required materials
- Have a good command of written and spoken English
- Agree to be featured in Sapiente marketing and social media channels
Scholarship Pathways
1. Fully-Funded Scholarship (100%): Mastery One-to-One Programme
- Subject: Computer science & Artificial Intelligence
- Duration: 3 months (beginning in the second half of June 2026)
- Format: One-to-one, personalised Oxbridge mentorship
- Sessions: 20 bespoke sessions
- Seat: 1 student
- Tuition: 100% funded by Sapiente, no contribution from the family
Our most prestigious and competitive award, designed for an ambitious high-achieving student who can undertake an intensive academic challenge. Across these three months, the scholar will work closely with an Oxbridge mentor towards publishing a research paper suitable for a college-level journal, a unique achievement that stands out in university applications.
2. Partially-Funded Scholarships (50%): Intensive One-to-One Programme
- Subject: Robotics
- Duration: 2 weeks (June-August, depending on student availability)
- Format: Daily one-to-one mentoring
- Sessions: 10 intensive sessions
- Seat: 1 student
- Tuition: Sapiente funds 50%
A high-impact technical sprint for students fascinated by engineering and automation. Scholars receive daily personalised guidance from a world-class mentor with advanced research and industry experience, gaining both foundational knowledge and practical, hands-on exposure.
3. Partially-Funded Scholarships (50%): Group Intensive Programme
- Subject: Artificial Intelligence
- Duration: 2 weeks (run June-August, based on cohort availability)
- Format: Collaborative group learning
- Sessions: 10 expert-led sessions + 10 hours of group project work
- Seats: 10 students
- Tuition: Sapiente funds 50%
A selective and academically rigorous programme introducing students to the foundations, breakthroughs, and applications of AI. Scholars learn alongside a motivated cohort, guided by an Oxbridge AI mentor. They complete a collaborative AI challenge project, developing both technical fluency and teamwork skills.

Who can apply for the scholarships?
Students aged 13-19 who demonstrate interest in the listed subjects and can commit to the programme. The scholarships are intended for ambitious teenagers and young students with a strong academic interest in the subject area. We welcome applicants from different educational backgrounds, provided they can demonstrate curiosity, commitment, and the ability to engage seriously with the programme.
Is there a cost to apply?
No, applications are free.
Can international students apply?
Yes. The scholarships are open to international applicants, since the programmes are delivered online. Students should however ensure that they can attend the live sessions and complete the required work during the programme period.
Can a student apply for more than one scholarship?
Yes, a student may express interest in more than one scholarship if there is a genuine fit.
What does a partial scholarship (50% funded) mean?
A 50% funded scholarship covers half of the tuition fee for the relevant programme. If selected, the family would be responsible for paying the remaining balance before the programme begins.
What should be included in the application?
Applicants should be prepared to share basic academic details, their age, background, reasons for applying, and why the chosen scholarship is a strong fit for their interests and goals. Depending on the scholarship, we may also ask for a short written statement or other supporting information.
When will the results be announced?
Final decisions are expected shortly after the application deadline. Shortlisted applicants may be contacted earlier if we require clarification or a brief follow-up conversation before confirming the final outcome.

When will the scholarship programmes take place?

Scholarship students will be taught by Sapiente mentors selected according to the same academic standards applied across our wider programmes. This means guidance from highly qualified educators and researchers with strong subject expertise and the ability to work closely with ambitious young learners.
