This Refund Policy explains when Sapiente Education may provide refunds for purchases made through our Services.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains when Sapiente Education (“Sapiente”, “we”, “us”) may provide refunds for purchases made through our Services.

Refund decisions depend on the type of product purchased and the circumstances described below.

2. Definitions

  • Digital Course: Pre-recorded content, downloadable materials, and self-paced learning modules.
  • Live Program / Mentoring: Scheduled sessions delivered live (e.g., 1-to-1 mentoring, shadow-learning programs).
  • Start Date: The date on which the first live session occurs or access is granted, depending on the product.

3. Digital courses (self-paced)

3.1 Refund window

For digital courses, Sapiente Education may offer a refund request window of 14 days from purchase, provided that:

  • you have not completed more than a reasonable portion of the course content, and
  • there is no evidence of abuse (e.g., downloading/recording content excessively, repeated refund patterns)

3.2 Non-refundable cases

Refunds are generally not offered if:

  • the refund request is made after the stated refund window
  • the course has been substantially consumed (e.g., a high percentage of lessons watched)
  • access was suspended for Terms violations

4. Live programs and 1-to-1 mentoring

Because live programs involve reserved tutor capacity and scheduling, refunds are more restrictive.

4.1 Before the program begins

If you request cancellation more than 7 days before the Start Date, Sapiente Education may offer:

  • a full refund, or
  • a partial refund minus any non-refundable deposit (if applicable), or
  • an option to reschedule (subject to availability)

4.2 Close to the start date

If you request cancellation within 7 days of the Start Date, Sapiente Education may offer:

  • rescheduling (preferred), or
  • a partial refund at Sapiente Education’s discretion, depending on tutor allocation and operational costs

4.3 After the program begins

Once the program has started (first session delivered or access to live program materials granted), refunds are generally not provided, except where required by law or in exceptional circumstances.

5. Rescheduling

For live programs, Sapiente Education may allow rescheduling when:

  • notice is provided in advance (e.g., at least 24–48 hours)
  • the tutor is available
  • rescheduling is not repeated excessively

Rescheduling rules can vary by program and will be communicated during enrollment.

6. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] and include:

  • the email used for purchase
  • the product name
  • purchase date
  • reason for the request

Sapiente Education may ask for additional information to process the request.

7. Processing time

If approved:

  • refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible
  • processing times depend on your bank/payment provider (often 5–10 business days)

8. Chargebacks and disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting Sapiente Education first, your account access may be suspended while the dispute is investigated. Please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve issues quickly.

9. Changes to this policy

Sapiente Education may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Updated” date above.
